The terms that govern Applyr

Last updated: August 2026

By creating an account or using Applyr, you agree to these terms. They are deliberately short and written in plain language \u2014 please read them.

1. What Applyr is

Applyr AI is a hosted career tool that reviews CVs, recovers evidence of your professional impact, matches jobs to what you can prove, and builds truthful, tailored CVs. Your account includes a small number of free AI actions; after that, AI features run on an AI provider key you connect from your account settings.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information. You may have only one Applyr account unless we agree otherwise.

3. The truth rule

The central rule of Applyr is that it can improve how your experience is communicated — it never invents experience, metrics, employers, dates, or skills. Your final CVs are built from evidence you have verified or added. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you confirm, add, or submit to an employer. Applyr helps you stay truthful; it cannot and does not guarantee that anything you submit is accepted or accurate.

4. What you can do with the service

You may use Applyr to review CVs, build evidence profiles, match jobs, and generate CVs for your own job applications. You may not scrape, resell, or redistribute the service or its outputs, attempt to access another user's data, or use the service to misrepresent your qualifications to employers.

5. AI-generated content

Applyr uses third-party AI providers to generate analysis, matches, and CV content. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or biased. You should review anything Applyr generates before using it. Applyr is provided 'as is' and we make no warranty that its output is error-free.

6. Your data and content

You own the professional information and CVs you create in Applyr. You grant us the right to process that data to operate the service — including sending the relevant portions to AI providers when you use AI features, as described in the Privacy Policy. If you delete an item or your account, we remove it in line with the Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: no reverse engineering, no attempts to disrupt it, no automated scraping, no uploading unlawful or malicious content, and no use that breaks the law in your jurisdiction.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data, and the rights you have. By using Applyr you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If we make a material change, we will update the 'last updated' date and, where reasonably possible, notify you. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Termination

You can stop using Applyr and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or misuse the service, with reasonable notice where possible.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Applyr and its maintainers are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including decisions made by employers based on CVs you generate. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Contact
